Deleting a Caregiver Profile

Note: Deleting is not recommended. Do not delete a profile if connected to any Family Activity data. Profiles created accidentally may be deleted (e.g. a duplicate). If a caregiver has left the family, it is recommended to edit the profile and set to “Inactive”.
Note: A Primary Caregiver profile may not be deleted when it is attached to a Secondary Caregiver profile or when activity forms have been attached to this profile. To delete any activity forms associated with the caregiver profile see Deleting Family Activities. If you need to remove a Primary Caregiver but wish to retain the Secondary Caregiver, you will need to promote the Secondary Caregiver to the Primary Caregiver – please see Promoting a Secondary Caregiver to Primary Status.

To delete a caregiver profile:

  1. Click “Family Profiles” in the left navigation menu.
  2. Click “Search Caregiver”.
  3. Locate caregiver profile to delete.
  4. Click the trashcan icon in the “Action” column.
  5. A prompt will appear that asks “Are you sure you want to Delete the selected form?”
  6. Click “OK” to confirm and delete. Or, click “Cancel” to cancel the deletion.
