FSSD Report – Other Demographic Questions

This report contains information required by funders in the state of Iowa, as well as data that programs can use for program planning, evaluation, and Quality Improvement activities.

The section below contains information about each tab in the Iowa FSSD Report.

Reminder: Primary Caregiver and children with profiles and assessments entered into DAISEY will be represented in reports. The data only reflects families that are actively enrolled during the date range selected in the filter.

What does this report represent

This reports represents data entered into DAISEY for Iowa FSSD programs. Some graphs may have Unknown or Invalid data.  To review Unknown or Invalid data in these reports, review underlying data to determine what data needs corrected. Instructions for accessing underlying client level data and downloading PDF versions of reports are available in the DAISEY Technical Assistance Brief – How to Use DAISEY Reports.

USING FILTERS

Use the following filters to determine the data to review:

Reporting Year (fiscal year), Reporting Period (Quarter), and Short-term or Long-term program (applies to PFS/LSP tab only), Organization Name, Program Name and County Name.

Form: Primary Caregiver and Child Profiles

Questions considered: Enrollment Date, Discharge Date, Annual Household Income, Household Size, Education, Child has a current IFSP or IEP

Who is counted: All active families who are actively enrolled anytime during the date range selected.

Notes:

  • To be ECI Eligible, the family has to meet one of the following criteria: Income less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, Caregiver with less than or equal to a high school education and/or have children between ages 0-5 who has an IFSP or IEP. All other responses, including no response, fall into the Not Eligible category.

Families Eligible By Shared Visions Secondary Requirements

Form: Primary Caregiver and Child Profiles

Questions considered: Enrollment Date, Discharge Date, Does the family meet the Iowa Code’s secondary eligibility criteria? (Question required for Shared Visions program only)

Who is counted: All Primary Caregivers who are actively enrolled anytime during the date range selected that do not qualify for Shared Vision’s Primary requirement.

Notes:

  • To be Eligible by Shared Vision Secondary Requirements, the Primary Caregiver must have answered ‘Yes’ to this question at enrollment. All other responses, including no response, fall into the Not Eligible category.
  • The Shared Vision’s Primary Requirement is that families whose income is greater than > 125% FPL, but who meet one or more of the secondary eligibility criteria per Iowa Code (281-67.5(279)). Questions considered: Enrollment Date, Was the family enrolled prenatally?, Discharge Date

Who is counted: Families that were newly enrolled anytime during the date range selected. This does not include Secondary Caregivers.

Notes:

  • If the Primary Caregiver reported they enrolled prenatally during enrollment, they will appear in the Enrolled Prenatally category in the date range selected. All other responses, including no response, fall into the Enrolled Postnatally category.

Who is counted: Primary Caregivers that are actively enrolled anytime during the date range selected.

Notes:

  • Primary Caregivers that answer this question ‘Yes’ will show up in the Incarcerated category (Fig.16). All other responses, including no response, fall into the Not Incarcerated category.
